Palo Alto Housing is excited to bring to North Fair Oaks, 2821 El Camino Real Apartments — a new 67-unit 100% affordable housing community that will provide independent living for a mix of low-income families, including veterans and those with special needs. 2821 El Camino Real is centrally located on El Camino Real, between Berkshire and Dumbarton, and is within walking distance of grocery, pharmacy, restaurants, and public transit.
On-site amenities will include a courtyard, barbecue, a community room, community kitchen, and elevator access on every floor. Palo Alto Housing is also partnering with the local Veterans Affairs office, San Mateo County Behavioral Health & Recovery Services, and MHA of San Mateo County to provide supportive services to residents, including case management, health and wellness programs, and assistance with accessing community resources.

ECR has been prioritized by the city of Mountain View to provide independent living for a mix of single and two-person households between 50-70 % of the area median income (AMI). Fifteen of the units are reserved for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities and individuals who live or work in Mountain View will have priority for the remaining units.
